About Assent Academy

Founded by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) born and raised in the South Shore, Assent Academy is a practice that specializes in supporting and empowering individuals on the Autism Spectrum.

Our mission is to create a space where individuals want to learn by honoring their assent and prioritizing neuro-affirming treatment.

To us, that means we recognize neurodivergent traits as natural human variations to be understood, embraced, and supported—not a deficit to be fixed or cured.

  • We measure success by the individual's happiness, safety, and personal autonomy.
  • Not by compliance, and not by appearing “normal.”

Our team & collaboration

Our Team & Collaboration

We have a team of BCBAs, Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), and Behavior Technicians (BTs) who use play to implement 1:1 evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

We also collaborate closely with the individual's whole care team to establish programming that is supported across a wide range of specialists and aligned with their individual goals.

Caregiver Collaboration & Individualized Programming

Caregiver collaboration is key to our services and the success of ABA for our young learners. We work closely with families to provide the foundation and skills needed to navigate a child's developmental and behavioral milestones.

All programming is individualized to each client to help them achieve their goals.
